What is escrow?

Escrow means a third party holds the payment while a deal completes. On ehsaan, that third party is ehsaan. The seller can see the money is there, so they hand the parcel over. The buyer knows the seller cannot take it until the parcel has been checked.

How does a purchase work, step by step?

You pay through ehsaan. A rider collects the parcel from the seller and delivers it to you. You check it. You approve it, and the money is released to the seller.

If you neither approve the parcel nor report a problem within the window shown on the order, the order is treated as approved.

What does buyer protection cover?

An item that never arrives, an item that is significantly not as described, an item that arrives with damage the listing did not show, and the wrong item. The full terms are on the buyer protection page.

It does not cover change of mind, fit where the listing gave measurements, or anything paid for outside the ehsaan checkout.

How do you report a problem?

Do not approve the order. Open it, tap Report a problem within 48 hours of delivery, and send clear photos of what you received. ehsaan looks at what both sides send and decides whether the money goes back to you or on to the seller.

Is there a fee for holding the money?

Yes. The buyer pays an escrow fee at checkout, a share of the item price that covers holding the payment safely until delivery. You see your full total before you pay, and every fee is listed on the pricing page.
